About Dakota Impressions Photography:

Dakota Impressions Photography is owned by Sue Gannaway of Spearfish, South Dakota.  As a serious amateur for 4 years, it was a desire to take the next step and become a professional that led Gannaway to create Dakota Impressions Photography in 2009.  Specializing in photo cards and prints taken over the past 5 years while living at the northern edge of the Black Hills of South Dakota, Dakota Impressions Photography is largely a wholesaler to local gift shops and specialty stores.  

Born and raised in western North Dakota, Gannaway has resided in South Dakota since 1991.  Many of her images feature the beauty of both states as well as eastern Wyoming. Says Gannaway, “With the beauty of Spearfish Canyon and the Black Hills as my backyard inspiration, I hope to create memorable images that remind both visitors and residents of this beautiful land.”
